How we helped Moody redevelop their hydration range from the ground up.
At Canify, we love getting stuck into projects that challenge the norm and Theo Laviale, founder of Moody Drinks, came to us with exactly that.
Moody had a clear vision: clean hydration, no compromise.
But there was a sticking point — stevia.
The Problem?
Despite Moody’s strong branding and market potential, the inclusion of stevia was holding things back. Retailers weren’t keen, and neither was Theo — the taste just didn’t feel right.
The Mission:

✅ Low sugar, low calorie
✅ Keep the clean, fresh taste
✅ Get to market fast — without sky-high costs
What we did:
We worked with Theo to redevelop both SKUs using high-quality natural extracts, a splash of British raspberry juice, and added prebiotic chicory root inulin for body and function.
And to top it off — we reformulated the recipe to be consistent across different production sites by adjusting for local water profiles. That’s the kind of detail that matters at scale.
